TRAINING CENTRE
Gram Gaurav Pratishthan was formed in 1986 by Shri. Vilasrao Salunkhe. Since then the organization is educating and training farmers and villagers regarding water conservation, water management and organic farming. Moreover, the GGP organization also conducts training and development workshops to empower youth and women in the area by conducting courses about health and sanitation, processing and adding value to farm produce, yog and holistic health care and, preservation and enrichment of the environment.
Along with in-house courses, GGP also welcomes community level stakeholders, state-level delegates and groups from national as well as international organizations who wish to conduct their workshops and training sessions in the training center.
THE TRAINING CENTER AT GGP IS EQUIPPED WITH MODERN FACILITIES WITH A BLEND OF NATURAL ELEMENTS DETAILED AS UNDER
- Seating capacity for 50 participants or ground sitting arrangements for around 70 participants
- Mike and Speaker facility

- Wi-Fi and internet facilities for seamless communication
HOW TO GET THERE?
- The Training Centre is about 35 km from Pune city. Situated in village Khalad in Shetkarinagar Gotemal area, it is adjacent to Saswad-Jejuri Road.
- By Private Cabs
- Private cab services such as Ola and Uber can drop you at the doorstep of the GGP Training center. Simply enter the location and book a taxi.
- By Bus
- The GGP training Centre is easily accessible by Public Transport. Departing from Swargate Bus terminus you can take the bus to Jejuri and get down at Gotemal stop which is at doorstep of the Training Centre.
ACCOMMODATION
We offer clean and comfortable accommodations to the guests. There are 7 private rooms in total with a capacity of 15 beds each along with a private bathroom. We also have an 8-bed dormitory with a common bathroom for guests looking for budget accommodation.
Bhagirath guest house
Situated on the first floor, Bhagirath guest house has 4 private rooms with attached bath having capacity of 1-5 people with a sprawling terrace.
This guest house also has a common hall situated on the ground floor with a seating capacity of 25 people. Bhagirath hall is available for guests to conduct workshops and when not in use it can also used for recreational activities such as reading.
Krishna and Kaveri Cottages
Situated on the ground floor, Krishna and Kaveri cottages comprises of two separate private cottages with up to 4 beds each along with attached bath and an open verandah.
KITCHEN AND CANTEEN
- We offer delicious home-cooked meals. Our meals are vegetarian and cooked by the locals in our clean and hygienic kitchen. Meals are prepared using fresh produce from the farm.
- We serve a total of 3 meals including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Tea is served in the morning as well as in the evening. Snacks are available upon request.
- We have a separate dining area just outside the kitchen with sitting arrangements for 50 guests
